Wire sawing uses a hydraulic- or electric-powered motor and a series of pulleys and guides to pull a diamond-coated wire through large concrete objects to make a cut. 

Wire sawing is ideal for cutting sections of concrete too large for other methods as it can cut through almost any thickness of concrete, stone or granite mass. With a cut width of approximately 12mm, this process creates zero vibration, is dust-free and leaves a smooth exposed surface.
